In late 2014, Loristan M was imported from Rancho Corazon's European partner, Alex Bontemps, with whom he was competing in the 1.50m division. Since then, Guy McElvain has been showing Loristan successfully in the High Junior/Amateur Owner jumper division. The pair contested their first Grand Prix together at the Santa Fe Summer Series this past July.

Loristan's sire, Lord Pezi, (who unfortunately died in 2010), was considered the flagship stallion of the Böckmann stables where he stood. He had an impeccable pedigree, won up to advanced "S" level show jumping classes and passed his best traits resoundingly on to his progeny. For example, Louis finished tenth with Beat Mändli (SUI) in the individual final at the European Championships in Madrid, and was second in the World Cup in Oslo.

The list of other highly successful sons and daughters on the ground and competing internationally is long: Pezi with Beat Mändli (SUI), Lariccello with Helen McNaught (GBR), Le-Champ under Mikhail Safronov (RUS), Lord Spezi under Margie Engle-Goldstein (USA), Little Spezi with Mario Stevens, Londinium with Lillie Keenan (USA) and many more. In all, 17 sons of Lord Pezi are currently approved for breeding, including the OS Champion Stallion Luca Toni and the Hanoverian Jumper Champion Lord Fauntleroy.

Loristan's breeding, training, experience and generosity make him the ideal partner for riders looking to participate at the highest levels of our sport.
